Staff Hiring Process

1. Job Posting & Candidate Sourcing
1.1 Post job openings on platforms like VirtualStaff, Onlinejobs.ph, LinkedIn.

1.2 Use pre-screening questions to filter applications.

2. Initial Screening (30minutes with Operations Manager)
2.1 Review resumes, experience, and skills.
2.2 Conduct a quick background check if needed.

3. First Interview (30minutes with Operations Manager)
3.1 Assess communication skills, experience, and suitability for the role.
3.2 Ask scenario-based questions relevant to the job.

4. Test Task (If Applicable)
4.1 Provide a short, relevant task to evaluate skills and efficiency.

5. Final Interview with Ryan
5.1 Deep dive into work ethics, problem-solving, and long-term goals.
5.2 Discuss expectations, compensation, and work culture.

6. Contract Signing & Onboarding

6.1 Issue a contract and NDA.

6.2 Provide access to necessary tools, CRM, email, and task management systems.

6.3 Create a Spreadsheet for training progress.

7. Training & Probation Period
7.1 First 30-60 days focused on role-specific training.

7.2 Regular check-ins to ensure alignment with company expectations.

New Advisor Onboarding Process

1. Job Posting & Candidate Sourcing
1.1 Post job openings on platforms like LinkedIn (Ryan's Account)

1.2 Use pre-screening questions to filter applications.

1.3 Use a Google Form to scrape all applications or create use LinkedIn's Scraper to do it.

2. Initial Screening (30minutes with Operations Manager)
2.1 Review resumes, experience, and skills.
2.2 Conduct a quick background check if needed.

2.3 Ensure they are looking professional (salesy but extroverted-looking)

3. First Interview (30minutes with Ryan)
3.1 Prepare the resume, email and phone (Initial Interview report for Ryan)
3.2 Final Decision - you maybe included during the zoom call as a Manager or Ryan will personally do it.

6. Contract Signing & Onboarding

6.1 Issue a contract and NDA.

6.2 Provide access to necessary tools, CRM, email, and task management systems (as per Ryan)

6.3 Create a Spreadsheet for training progress.

7. Training & Probation Period (Directed by Ryan)
7.1 First 30-60 days focused on role-specific training.

7.2 Regular check-ins to ensure alignment with company expectations.

Advisor License Application

Pre-requisites:


1. Must be at least 18 years old.

2. Must pass a background check.

3. Must complete the required pre-licensing education.

4. Must pass the state licensing examination.

5. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Advisor Step by Step Process:

Step 1: Pre-Licensing Education


1.1 Enroll in a state-approved pre-licensing course (hours vary by license type eg. Life / Annuity).

1.2 Complete the required coursework.

1.3 Obtain a certificate of completion.

Step 2: Schedule & Pass the Licensing Exam

2.1 Register for the state licensing exam through the California Department of Insurance (CDI) or FINRA (for securities-related licenses).

2.2 Pay applicable exam fees.

2.3 Take and pass the exam.

2.4 Receive exam results and certification of completion.

Step 3: Submit License Application

3.1 Complete the advisor license application online via the NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry) or FINRA’s Central Registration Depository (CRD) system.

3.2 Pay the state-mandated licensing fee.

3.3 Submit fingerprints for a background check (Live Scan or designated service provider).

3.4 Provide proof of passing the exam and pre-licensing education certificate.

Step 4: Background Check & Processing

4.1 CDI/FINRA conducts a criminal background check.

4.2 Await confirmation of approval or requests for additional documentation.

Step 5: Obtain License & Maintain Compliance

5.1 Upon approval, receive the official license number.

5.3 Meet continuing education (CE) requirements for renewal.

As an Admin for Cahill Investments Inc., your role in the Advisor License Application Process includes facilitating, tracking, and ensuring compliance throughout the licensing process. Here’s a breakdown of your responsibilities:

Step 1: California Department of Insurance (CDI) (www.insurance.ca.gov)

✔ Checking California-specific licensing requirements.

✔ Registering for insurance-related exams.

✔ Submitting insurance license applications (Life, Health)

✔ Background checks and fingerprinting requirements.

✔ License status verification and renewal.

✔ Registering for securities-related exams (Series 6, 7, 65, 66, etc.).

✔ Submitting applications for investment advisory licenses.

✔ Checking regulatory and compliance requirements for financial advisors.

✔ Monitoring disciplinary actions and background reports.

✔ Advisor wants to add Annuity (2025 Model: California 4+8-Hour Annuity Suitability & Best Interest Training)

✔ Have them a RegEd Account ($5 per course as of Mar. 2025)

✔ Make sure they have the Fraudulent Training by Finra (Midland Offers free or purchase through RegEd)

✔ E&O License (NAPA)

✔ Complete with Carriers Form
✔ Once approved, advise Ryan and the New Advisor

✔ Either salary-based or commission-based must be communicated with Ryan.

Training sessions are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet with screen-sharing and recorded sessions for future reference. Some training materials, including SOPs and guides, are available in Google Drive or the company’s LMS.
